Speedwork Throughout The Off-Season!

November 27

Toma Cycling Cup:
After a few days off due to sickness, it was good to see Sascha Moryson get back on the bike and do some XC racing this past weekend at the Toma Cup in the Netherlands. After a less than ideal start, Sascha was able to work his way to 3rd place near the finish before a late race mishap landed him in 5th at the finish line. Nice work, Sascha!

The Hellrunner:
Mark Darcy had some fun this past weekend at the Hellrunner 16k trail race in the UK. What looks more like a WW1 trench battlefield, he came through relatively unscathed, sub some brusies to the body, producing a top-50 result out of over 1000 entrants! Way to persevere in tough conditions and have some fun in the off-season!

Basler Stadtlauf:
Jan Tschudy returned to some run racing after a bit of break following his 250km jaunt through the Jordan desert this past week at the Basel Stadtlauf 5.5km. Having run this race 4x in his sport career, we were looking at yet another PB for the course. Jan didn't disappoint, producing a 30sec PR from 2 years ago, finishing 5.5km in 19:15, good enough for 15th place! In comparison, Jans first race in 2012 was 22:38 and 162nd place! Really well done, Jan! Super job.
