Patagonman XTri - Patagonia
Allan Hovda ended his very successful season with a 2nd place finish to Xterra/70.3 star Mauricio Mendez in Patagonia this weekend. A lifetime best swim, solid bike, and run brought him to the finish in good spirits. After a busy season, Allan is ready for some time off with the family before we start our assault on next year's goals!

CC6 Cross Country League- UK
Mark Darcy continued some hard work with a nice and hilly local XC series at home in the UK. We continue to look for the overall improvements in fitness for swim/bike/run, and it's clear we need to spend some time running up steep grades. Speed through Strength, Mark!

Dawn To Dusk MTB Race - USA
Having been a bit under the weather the last couple weeks, Mark Miller joined a 4 person Co-Ed team this weekend and after a hard fought battle all race long, was able to take the top step of the podium with great riding by all team members! Glad to see some good numbers, and see the body is on it's way back! Congrats to Mark, and team!

Paracas Half Distance Triathlon - Peru
Coming off a fine first ever long-distance race at Ironman Florida, Erick Martinez finished off his season with a win on home soil in Peru thanks to a very solid day of swim/bike/run! Erick was able to produce a very consistent run split while other competitors fell away in the windy conditions, and celebrate a great end to the season. Now a bit of a break for the holidays, and full steam ahead towards Lima 70.3 and 2019!

Ochsenfurter Nikolauslauf - Germany
Florian Staudt completed in a nice little 7k race at home in Germany earning his Christmas cookies, and producing a stellar top-10 result in a very competitive field! We have some big goals on the plan for next year, and it is all starting to come together in the off-season with some good consistent training, and stimulus programs.

Honolulu 5k Run / 1k Swim
On a not-so-paradise-like day in Hawaii this past weekend, Michelle Simmons took part in a 5k run race followed immediately by a 1k sea swim. This was our first together and it was good to see some nice sensations during the race, and it's always nice to come across the line with the win! We continue to make headway in our preparations for a solid 2019!

Cortaillod 8k Run Series - Switzerland
Marc Stettler completed in the 2nd round of a local winter run series in Switzerland coming in a few seconds faster than round #1, and also much higher in the standings due to harsh weather conditions that saw less starters and also athletes running slower overall. Not for Marc! You have to take the conditions in stride, prepare to get wet and be cold, wear the right clothes, and just not let it affect you mentally. Really well done, Marc! It was evidence enough how the mind can affect any athlete!
